A Creative Collaboration: Elvis-Barlow Smith x CutLoose BK
The original CutLoose Mural by Elvis Barlow-Smith
Every great creative partnership starts with a spark, and for Elvis Barlow-Smith and CutLoose BK, that spark happened on the dance floor.
Elvis, a California-based graphic designer with an eye for bold visuals, has spent years shaping the look and feel of modern music. With a portfolio that includes work for The Rolling Stones, Kid Cudi, Willie Nelson, Kylie Jenner, NASA, and countless others, his designs blend nostalgia and texture in a way that’s instantly recognizable.
Elvis’s Album Artwork for Jex Opolis - Ravines
CutLoose founder Siobhan first came across Elvis’s work through his album art of a mutual friend Jex Opolis’s album Ravines. She was immediately drawn in by his fearless use of color and energy. Siobhan reached out to Elvis and spoke about her vision for the salon and how music is such a big reflection of the space. The two eventually met not in a studio, but on a dance floor. The perfect place for a collaboration rooted in expression.
Elvis soon became a part of crafting CutLoose’s image. He helped design and painted the original CutLoose studio, including its first-ever mural, setting the tone for the brand’s playful aesthetic.

Since then, Elvis has continued to collaborate with Siobhan and the CutLoose team, helping to shape the visuals of CutLoose BK into what it is today: vibrant and unmistakably original.
